Lyle Moore Scholarship Class
Ava Korek | 2025 Lyle Moore Scholarship Winner
The St. Albert Rotary Music Festival is proud to offer the Lyle Moore Scholarship Class, a $1,000 scholarship dedicated to advancing studies in music. The scholarship is open to all students without any specific residence requirements for either students or teachers.
Ava Korek is an 18 year-old MacEwan University student from St. Albert. She is in her first year of studies and is currently enrolled in the Faculty of Arts. Although uncertain as to what she would like to specialize in academically, Ava is certain that she would like to pursue a career as a music artist. From an early age, Ava began taking music lessons at Visionary Centre For The Performing Arts, and she continues to do so today. Since childhood, Ava has performed in music festivals and competitions in a variety of categories including Classical, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary Vocal. In the past four years, Ava has been the recipient of six festival/competition awards. In her spare time, Ava likes to spend time with her family, friends, and pets (Brandi the dog and Clover the chinchilla).
